Bass board update...

in (relay) > Schism > Microtubes B3K > VP-Jr > Dispatch Master > BMC > Submarine Designer > out (relay)
Schism ch1: Bluebeard > Tall Font Russian
Schism ch2: Unpleasant Surprise > Bottom Feeder > Compact Faye Sing
a Source Audio Dual Expression pedal controls the Faye Sing (not shown).
Sub D is on all the time
B3K is on about half the time
Dispatch Master is on most of the time
BMC is on sometimes, usually to add a little boost around 200-300Hz
I added the VP-Jr to the board again, this time to facilitate delay/reverb trails. I used to use it at the end, off board, to control the overall volume. I've seen a lot of boards online with the volume/expression pedals in the middle, so I thought I'd give it a try since last time the VP was on the far right.
Eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Ditto Looper (and my tax return). Then the amp-mute/eq switch (small black two buttoned thing next to the Schism) will be moved above the VP-Jr. I don't really use it that much, so it can take up the free space there.

Oh man in that fuzz documentary Jon Spencer plays one of those ( a vintage) and it sounds SO good.
Are the new versions any good?

I love the sound of them but I would rehouse that in a minute. I just hate the look of them.

Officer Bukowski wrote:Hell yeah. DM-2 time

I just got the DM-2 like half an hour ago. When I first plugged it in, it was apparent to me that somebody who had no idea what they were doing has changed the trimpots. They didn't even really extend the delay time much, they just kindof messed up the bias so that it had a really annoying high pitched whine at anything but really short delay times.
So I fixed it and now it sounds pretty freaking amazingly good. But the LED isn't working so I'm a little annoyed about the seller telling me it works perfectly
Right on. I've had a DM-2 on my board for quite a while now, and it's not going anywhere. My whole guitar just seems to sound better when it's on. I hope you dig it.
I didn't pay much for mine, but I see why people pay a lot for them.
If you have to change the LED, you should totally put something cool like green or purple in there.

I was asking because I could not find one and wondered what y'all were talking about.

This was causing the confusion. I guess it's yet another case of dan electro "borrowing" other people's designs...
