anyone ever own a JCM600? any thoughts on it as a clean pedal platform? there's one on ebay which is under 100 with an hour to go in the auction.

there's not much on it online, and looks like marshall don't have it in their back catalog

Of course, you realize: "For fans of Neurosis"
Based on that track, I'd say "Red Sparrowes via Unsane" is fairly solid.

I'm going to put out a relatively mellow, decidedly not heavy bit of sound at somepoint in the near future, and I'm seriously thinking about naming each track "For fans of...*Relapse band*"

I'm making up some labels to go on copies of my 7" for music stores. I think I'm gonna put "For fans of Mastodon" on the bottom of it for shiz n giggles.

Good timing, I think I'll spend all weekend making demo clips.

Definitely digging this. The vocals remind me a lot of Overmars which is a really good thing. That's cool that you are signed to Dullest Records. Burn Everything are awesome labelmates. Can't wait for the album to come out. Is it just going to be available on cd?
For now, Dullest is just doing a CD. I'm not sure why all the press says it is an ep (its only 6 songs probably) but the run time is 40 minutes. it's a full length. (we actually were very conscious to not have it go over 40 minutes. We'd love to have someone put this monster out on vinyl. Hopefully the tour and press from this record will help? We're going to give it the best shot we can.

Thanks to everyone for the love

I've actually been doing that! I'm actually enjoying the hell out of my downsized rig, but I might be joining a local black metal band and I kinda miss the cold sterile high gain tones of my old 5150.... Realistically though I can probably get away with a boosted rat, and I've all ready got that covered... Maybe I just miss the feeling of GAS :idk:

You can put me down on the pre-order for that.

Dude, that would be hilarious. Do the labels in Comic Sans, too.

Pretty sure there are some lady fans of the 'don that would consider that...probably way more tubby, bearded dudes though.

5150 is the right amp for that job but, nobody will be surprised when I state the following: just get a Black Forest.
Wait, don't you have one already?
