Anyways, I wanted to say all, but there are semiexceptions to the rule, anime that skirts the moe label while delivering a good story. Things like Hibike Euphonium and such. Or maybe I'm just so old (within the context of anime fandom) and jaded (in general) that the moe style has crept so far into the veins of anime and I now consider anything that's not actively trying to distance itself from the label as such.

Azumanga Diaoh didn't make you weary of it though because there was real humor to counter balance the cuteness, but yeah it is the format that stuck... I'm sure it wasn't the originator but in terms of being copied... And it's fine to be jaded without us jaded assholes telling everyone they suck no one would try to not suck

i'd give the manga a shot but skip the anime. i thought it was pretty great for a while but it's been dragging on a bit much for my liking.

mostly +1 but i like YouZitsu and 18if so far, and Made in Abyss is worth it at least for the art. i tried 22 shows (i don't know why i keep doing this) so that's a shit ratio but meh.

I dropped 18if immediately. Tell me more about Classroom of the Elite though, I've been on the fence with that.

Last season had Tsuki Ga Kirei, Little Witch Academia, and the second season of Eccentric Family (one of my top anime in the last couple of years).

This season I have Tsuredzure Children and that's it, but even that is null since I've been following the comic for a years now. MiA I'll watch soon though.

i like the concept and it seems to have some interesting characters? idk
it usually takes me 3-4 episodes to figure out whether i actually like something, so early days still.
at least Owari will be out around the time i'm inevitably burned out on almost everything else

Spent some time this morning introducing my partner to Project A-ko. Let's see how much trashy 80's anime they can put up with before they leave me, haha.
