which USUALLY is way better. i'm'a check it out once it's over.
Netflix - Extras was hellza good. made me think mebbe i don't hate Ricky Gervais, i just hate the Office Style Ricky Gervais character i thought he always did. W1A was awesome, took a minute to get comfy with the pace, but goooood.
and fuck me. Derek is KILLING me. my wifey was all, "are you crying AGAIN? WE DON'T HAVE TO WATCH THIS."
"but i love it! it's GOOD! SOB SOB SNUFFLE."
Extras is the only Ricky Gervais thing I've ever really liked. It's very good.

+1, show's great.

so. like. i mean. i am SUPER sappy. i get choked up just telling cute stories of humanity being good to each other. so. grain of salt in your eye or whatever.
but Derek is just suuuuper touching and sweet. first time i've seen the Grimy Reality Of People That Think They Are Rockstars mock-umentry that the Office made huge in Brit Tele' where i don't feel like you're supposed to laugh at the people.
i like it a lot.

Did you watch it chronologically (Caprica > Blood and Chrome > Battlestar Galactica)?

Battsy Galctsy is hecksa good. until the last season. then.... dunno. you'll see.
Terrifier is next on my list, just watched The Loved Ones (been meaning to foreverrrrr. so GOOD.), watching Beyond Skyline now. the first was..... not great. had one really cool part. this is a stupid dumb action alien movie that knows what it is and is better for it.

Iron Fist season 2 is defo an improvement on the first one (not saying much) and it really seems like they've leant into the fact that Colleen is the coolest character in the Marvel/Netflix universe

I kind of enjoyed Ironfist. I thought it was way better than Nick Cage or whatever.

I still like that season, but I'm aware it's maybe a bit of a minority opinion from people I've talked to about it.

I caught most of Caprica when it first aired on SyFy with no prior knowledge of the contemporary BSG universe and enjoyed it. The other prequel wasn't previously on my radar. I also half-watched reruns of the OG series during childhood and constantly confuse it with Buck Rogers.
