do I need one?
Easy answer: Yes, you do. I've had it for about a month and feel I still haven't scratched the surface as far as all the options go...But I honestly don't think there is a useless or bad sounding option on it. Plus, it's got an octave jumping reverse delay. Totally rad.

And for the record, Shoe Pedal's Pixel is absolutely incredible.
Ever tried the ECT before your tuner? I've found mine sounds more dynamic/responsive without a buffer in front of it.

There's something innately charming about a smoking boy and his chicken, right? That picture was in my grandparents' house growing up for some reason. And dude, your avatar reminds me of the bassist I jam with...A never-ending, hypnotic glasses adjustment.
goroth wrote:Dude, super rad board. How's the pixel? I think I want one.
Go for it, dude. You seriously won't regret it. Make sure to ask him for the newest version, though. I got the first one of that run, and it's absolutely killer

Cheers, glad you like! The Pixel Is a square-wave-ish fuzz that IMO emulates keyboards really well. Using it with my ring mod I've got some crazy Moog synth and Casio style sounds. It also has some really usable tones for doing leads and cutting through a mix, as well. The best comparison to other stuff in production I can think of is if the Fuzz Factory had a weird brother who had more character and was easier to get along with.
