yeah, I wish etching was happening but I'm still down for the sound.
Damn not being able to afford to get in on this, will have to see if I can swing something.new05002 wrote:I opened some pedal preorders Volt Thrower, HM2, WF, and CF. Check the Dunwich Amps Facebook page for info
Looking good Nick...they look great and well priced...and from listening to all the demo's i know they sound awesome...AxAxSxS wrote:I know Nick wont post this up in here so-
I'm so in on one of those VT's. Terrible timing as I have a bunch of gear purchases going on but I think I can swing it.
I need to finish and sell that SG7.

Congrats bro!!!!!conky wrote:Just snagged this on ebay. Guy had a buy it now for $700 so I put a best offer of $600 and he accepted it. Looks pretty clean. I had one before that died on me about 30 minutes after taking it out of the box so hopefully I'll have better luck with this one.
FUUUCCKKKK I hate being broke.... Want a VT SOOOOOOOO bad.AxAxSxS wrote:I know Nick wont post this up in here so-

Factor cost of developing the design, prototyping, purchasing parts for 20 units, and paying an employee to build them for you. Easy $200 to even end up making money on the time invested. It is not one of the pedals you can easy clone and reproduce. It took about 10-20 hours of work to figure out how the circuit should function before I could even build on that idea to make a modded version. If I had a way of making 1000 units quickly and easily I could make the price lower but its a labor intensive project.D.o.S. wrote:I still don't get the appeal of a 2-bills HM-2.
Those etched ones in the photos look nice, though.
VT is a modded out RAT at its heart. I was first approached to do a good bass rat that could pump out tons of bass and that was the start of the VT.D.o.S. wrote:That was more of a throwback to the Wren and Cuff Debacle than any real comment on yer product.
What're the rest of the circuits related to, sonixwise?
