I'm so in on one of those VT's. Terrible timing as I have a bunch of gear purchases going on but I think I can swing it.
I need to finish and sell that SG7.
Looking good Nick...they look great and well priced...and from listening to all the demo's i know they sound awesome...

conky wrote:Just snagged this on ebay. Guy had a buy it now for $700 so I put a best offer of $600 and he accepted it. Looks pretty clean. I had one before that died on me about 30 minutes after taking it out of the box so hopefully I'll have better luck with this one.

Conky did you buy that head from a guy in Michigan?
I know somebody selling one -- wondering if its his.

He has a BAT Pharaoh I kind of want to buy because good deal even though I already have one. Definitely don't need a second.

How is that Orange Divo working out for you? I have been intrigued by those since I first saw them come out.

I still don't get the appeal of a 2-bills HM-2.

Those etched ones in the photos look nice, though.

Factor cost of developing the design, prototyping, purchasing parts for 20 units, and paying an employee to build them for you. Easy $200 to even end up making money on the time invested. It is not one of the pedals you can easy clone and reproduce. It took about 10-20 hours of work to figure out how the circuit should function before I could even build on that idea to make a modded version. If I had a way of making 1000 units quickly and easily I could make the price lower but its a labor intensive project.

That was more of a throwback to the Wren and Cuff Debacle than any real comment on yer product.

What're the rest of the circuits related to, sonixwise?

VT is a modded out RAT at its heart. I was first approached to do a good bass rat that could pump out tons of bass and that was the start of the VT.

Cthulhu is part fuzzface with more gain than just a FF.

Wizard is a circuit Frankenstein but I would think sonically its more like a muff than anything else

Nick's HM2 is pretty versitile compared to any other HM2 I've tried. The tone stack in particular was super flexible which was great
