Currently playing with this. I'm waiting on a Pocket Arcade from Tom and once that comes in I think the Ritual may come off for a little bit and I'll roll with Arcade>QM or AB or Dirt Transmitter>Pharaoh>DLS for that first row.

Snazzy as usual. Funny enough, a DLS MkIII, Ritual, and QM are all on my short list. I've got my DT for sale, which will likely go toward the Ritual - since you've got both, how do they compare? And while we're comparing things, how do the QM and Elements compare?

Hot board ^ ^ ^ We have the same settings on the Ritual.
Speaking of which... Trey, if you're looking to pick up a Ritual hit me up. I've got a custom job coming in from BAT that will be kicking my Ritual off my board. It'll be redundant so there is really no sense in me keeping it other than the custom one off enclosure (glow in the dark lexan decal) but I really need to clear some stuff out to recoup funds spent on the custom pedal Mark is hooking me up with.

My band Flying Medusa was just announced to play the Days of the DOOMED IV Fest this June!!! Can't wait, but we have plenty of work to do, and now to get back to that work.

Congrats dude! That sounds like a great time.
Speaking of awesome line up announcements, that reminds me. Do we have any Mournful Congregation fans here? A friend of mine just booked them for Brooklyn end of June. I'm psyched.

That is a snazzy looking Ritual indeed. If I can sell the Dirt Transmitter, and decide to go for a Ritual, I will definitely hit you up about that. Can't wait to see what you and Mark cooked up for your custom.

Sure, it takes 10 minutes to walk there, but the real issue is how long it takes to stumble home?

Thanks.
Ok the DT and the Ritual compare in that both can sound huge. The Ritual has more sludge in it, though, and is closer to probably the Dream Crusher running at 11. It cleans up to a funky, trashy overdrive sound when you roll back the volume and doesn't have the variation in textures that you get with the DT. I like it best when I push the DLS with it. Just a big, thick, sludgy monster when I do that.
The QM and Elements have a little overlap but the QM has more of a classic sound to me and works more like the Pharaoh as a big loud dirty boost (but isn't quite as fat/loose) than the Elements as a modern-sounding standalone distortion. Elements gets way tighter. The QM is another amp/preamp pusher from BAT in my mind and it's absolutely killer. It's also loud as hell.

Yeah, maybe a few years ago...these days my little one wakes me up in the morning at about 7...and he really doesn't care if i'm hungover or not
