Definitely. I wonder what that would look like with a rosewood board though.

It would look like this

I'm on holidays but GAS refuses to cease even here.

Just scored two pedals I've been after for ages - a Tortenmann TT3 Tremolo and also a TK-23 Compressor.

Germanium goodness! I'm also working on scoring a new amp too.

Though I won't be able to play the amp till I get back home on the 25th of August :(

Let's derail the GAS thread!!!

I would not even think that it is necessary in any case, or possible. Even after having been on the bad end of unfaithfulness I would still be married to my ex-wife. Not that I still love her or that I want to live in the same household, but there is a sort of symbolism in a marriage for me that just cannot be broken. I will probably stay married to her for the rest of my life on some level, even though there is no love between us any more and we are legally divorced. I totally agree with you on the point that people should just pull themselves together and stay in it. I also think that on some mystic level there can never be a divorce. Any way, we both try for the best for our daughter that is possible under the circumstances, I do not have first hand experience, but I might have a second-hand-idea about being from a broken household. Nothing I want for anyone.
The only reason we did divorce was financial, bureaucratic shit. Why some people (idiots) only get married. But it is a pain in the ass to be seen as one entity by the state when really you are not. Made me sore in the end. My take on it is to not have those legal distinctions at all, it would save people a lot of trouble. Let society handle that. People can get married in church, why take it to a administration?

Ha! Yeah, sorry to derail the thread. I just wanted to point that out.

Your viewpoint has become really popular in recent years. I know a lot of people, even in Ireland, who have simply stood together as one without solidified it by law or by religion. For the most part, these people don't care what the government or the object of God sees them as, so they question the marriage—and the second you do that the second you should not go through with it. They just love each other and are happy where they are.

With that said, many feel legal marriage is the proudest and boldest act of selfless love and dedication, which I can't criticise.

Anyway, let's get back to GAS!

First one.

Is that a custom G&L editer? Have you got a link to it?

I want an SC-2 so badly. I'd prefer an original SC-1 with a neck pick-up, but they're very hard to find, and when they do crop up they're always in the States.

Depending on which dealer you go to and your specs, they're usually around $1k. I'd rather pay a little more to get a new one that looks exactly how I want it and has the perfect neck profile.

Just bought this! Absolutely psyched. Now I own three of my favourite ever amps.

Image

It will sit nice next to my Matamp First Lady and Swart AST though I might sell the First Lady when I get back to AU.

That is awesome. I've tried a 1224 before and was really impressed, but I preferred the King Street and GT1. You have some awesome amps.
