Back to bass shit. What you guys think about that Mantic Density Hulk? I think the expression control sounds INTRIGUING. Especially now that they have a cheaper smaller Hulk. But the expression option isn't on the slim guy. Went from "I'm totally going to do this" to ".....I dunno..." when I found that out.

IDK, it seems like a goodway to fuck a lot of stuff up, speakers, PAs, the ability to hear, note definition. To me, super sub stuff like that doesn't make sense on a bass. I would rather a kick takes the lowest frequency then bass fills the mids and treble on top. Even with just a drum machine and bass I want the the boomy stuff to be on the drum machine and it frees up the space I handle.

I'm with Delta on this...and besides, the last thing I want is something that could melt my rig/cat/house if I mess it up somehow. That said, an exp pedal does sound like a good option...I think.

I had a love/hate thing with it for quite awhile, after owning it a 3rd time and with a passive bass, it just sort of works. Not a perfect synth pedal but none of them are. I can send you some my patches that I made if you want

I would be interested
but I'm still on the fence... or... at least the when... I know it won't be perfect but for my actual live use it might work... and my drummer likes the demos vids....

It's too fugly for my board. Only pretty pedals or stuff Danno can etch need apply.

I will admit it [and everything they make] is uglier then a walrus mated with a pomeranian.... but stuff can be done to it... like the sides... wooden ones could be made... the knobs lost... the other yellowness removed..
