thanks guys, successfully looked up both those options. I think the Ampeg one looks a bit more durable?
The Simms Watts will most likely be powering the 4x12's, I might actually use one of the Earth's for the 18. I'll experiment with what sounds best. The 1200s is also a strong possibility. It kind of comes down to what will work best from my current cabs and how it all sounds and works together. Right now I get some beastly sounds from the Sunn into GK4412H combo and If i get into the same territory with this thing then that one might get semiretired. If it does not hit that mark, hopefully I can use the 2 together and have a 2 fridge cab gig setup. we'll see. Currently I am bringing 3 cabs to shows and I'm hoping this will cut that down to 2.

I'm in on this new gear party, goddammit.
Won't get to crank it up until next week, as I have to rewire my Oranges back from 4 to 16 ohms. But this is gonna rule for sure.
Also, RUINE is awesome. -

Setup and build quality are both top notch, perfect in every way. Weight is fantastic too, feels around 8lbs to me. Gonna need some bigger strings though, all in due time.
Man, that looks amazing. Cool and really unique, that's gorgeous. What kind of bridge is that?
It's a Schaller STM roller bridge in satin chrome. Works great with the Bigsby. Used satin chrome Schaller mini tuners as well to afford smaller headstock and keep that weight down. No dive at all thankfully.

The gear porn in this thread is over 9000! Here is my contribution. Just acquired this during the guitar center blow out. Plays GREAT, tuned to C.

I would if I could! All of our cabs are in the van right now, so I can't even get at 'em until then. Then, we have practice for 3-4 hours, after which I won't be in a soldering kind of mood. So, the weekend/early next week it is!

3-4 hours of practice with a band sounds pretty goddamn sweet right now. My band had our first drummer-replacement audition on Sunday- went well and I think the dude could work out (nice guy, hits hard, good sounding kit), but we weren't blown away to the point of cancelling the other guys we have scheduled to try out.

Damn, between that Monson, the EGC, that SG! I gotta get my SG12 finished up. Holy shit gear overload is right.
Did extensive battle with my new DAW tonight, finally (after getting Ableton Live 9 full version) have it all working. Should be able to record live in the practice room with stereo condensers on one track, 2 vocal tracks, dedicated guitar, bass, kick drum and maybe room for a couple more mics on the drums. (would need more mics for that)
I am completely out of unused cables. That's never happened to me before.
Hopefully we'll have some Flux to share soon.
