I grew up in a house that was too clean and spotless and wound up allergic to everything... My Mom could tell if I walked in the dinging room or her room by footprints on the carpet...
You gotta live however you want, some people are OCD and some people are Hippies...
Took me along time to even go to sleep with dirty dishes in the sink...
Now I could give a shit...
People are People so why should it be...

My parents weren't quite that cray, but I definitely feel you on that one, Soni.
I'm an interior designer (though I don't do residential work) and even my house doesn't look like that! I mean, I try (and can def be ocd about neatness and things being where they go) but houses were made to live in. Places like that just feel so lifeless.

Hahaha! Nah, just the organisational porn - the neatness, the having a place for everything....everything going back in that place. No three day old food scraps showing up in strange places, no toddler redecorating. Life like a furniture catalogue.
