For what it's worth, me Ma is 61 and she's the person who showed me that movie in the first place.

Just sayin' next time you get the opportunity, I say do it! Especially if you have some plastic bags.

I like Lock, Stock a good bit. Snatch is the best though. So good.

I'm probably one of 4 people who thought Revolver was amazing.

Still haven't seen RocknRolla and I'll likely never watch Swept Away.

The Sherlock things are perfectly fun, my kind of mindless action flicks.

I'm the only person I know who prefers Lock Stock to Snatch. Snatch just seems like "oooooh, we got Brad Pitt, and he's doing an accent, quick everyone go nut yourself". Lock Stock had soooooo many scenes that made me laugh my ass off, way more than Snatch did.

K... since yall is like all in here and will see this vs a thread of it's own ...

bass synth pedals...
B-ringer vs boss :why
EHX: is it better then the average doorstop?
Markbass: can it actually track?
:p

I know you might wonder like why since my board ATM can do real moog tonez... and well.... I'm thinking about a mini board.... :picard:

i've never played a "bass synth" pedal i liked. sooooo..... i dunno.

Locks is fun. i do like Snatch better. darker and i am a Pitt fan boi. but both are really good.

oog. really? Revolver is fucking HORRIBLE. it's just.... boring. cool idea, all the Shambahlahah (i forget the Jewish mysticism sect's name. my bad) kinda ruined any narrative flow.

Behr vs Boss: I had them both at the same time and directly A/B'd them:

Behr tracks a tiny bit better, it can sustain the note a bit longer. They have the same modes, and the same sounds. Like fucking exactly. The only difference is that when you turn the decay knob all the way up on the Behringer in the non-lfo modes, it disables the filter sweep and you just get a straight oscillator. The Boss doesn't do that, it just sweeps really slowly.

EHX: I dig it, but it's not really a synth at all. It's two octaves, fuzz, filter, and auto-swell all in one pedal. It's one of my favorite filters, and the octave down is a good one. I really never use the auto-swell, and the octave up is basically an octavia, so it's really subtle on bass.

Markbass: Never tried it. The fact that you basically can't change any of the parameters without a computer turned me right the fuck off.

Behringer over Boss because the filter can be static. It might have another feature the Boss doesn't have.
Never fucked with the EHX.
I don't have problems with my MarkBass tracking. In fact, I have come to like the pedal a lot, this is my 3rd time owning it though. Pretty much none are perfect but I like the MBSS through my Xero DLX for foot sweepin', then ran into modulation and maybe the PitchFactor. Which brings me to my next point, the Pitchfactor is the icing on the cake for a lot of my synth sounds.

The Second Voice Deluxe does a lot of synthy things for me. Pretty nice with all the expression control guys.....but kinda sucks you need FOUR expression things to control it.

So. I love my bass. The sound is amazing. It plays like a dream. The graphite neck is so nice in the humid swamps of the fatherland. But yeah, an 18V preamp built into it....it doesn't play well with fuzzes or comps. And I don't want a second bass. So I've looked into getting a preamp bypass built into the bass to make it go passive....I was advised from my Tech and Rob Greene himself not to try it.....I got a Radial Tonebone Dragster to change the impedance....no luck......my latest idea is to put another pedal in front of my fuzzes....something that can take the output of my bass and make it friendlier on the fuzzes but not alter the tone and also keep the volume relatively the same after leaving the pedal. Does that make sense? Like, if I got a PWNZOR or Elements to lessen my basses output bite.....I dunno?

Pretty much that, Harpeggiator and Harmodulator. Occasionally I use some of the other weirder pitchshifting with reverb and delay.
