Couldn't agree more on the TB stuff and the dental horror.
Amps and Cabs - there's a nice dude on there who appears to have played every high end light cab in existence. He's a nice dude but there's a part of me wanting to scream - BUT YOU PLAY THE SAME FUCKING TUNES THROUGH ALL 65 CABS!!!! ARGH!!!!! GOOD TO KNOW THEY ALL HANDLE ELEVATOR MUZAK!!!! FUUUUCK!
Dentists - had a root canal and just shudder when I think about it.

Well considering all the cool effects kiddos came over here, I'm not surprised that TBFX is as slow as it is. I wouldn't say that there is more to talk about, with regard to amps and cabs, just more people wanting to talk about amps and cabs over effects.

I've been hanging out recently in the recording gear threads and someone actually asked what the best interface was/is. No mention of metal, but still...they also wanted to know how to plug their bass into GarageBand and then connect GB to their amp.

It could also be partly my fault...I saw Spaceballs once. That was enough; only film of his that I really don't like all that much, and so the reference went right over my head.
