but I'm actually listening to Gorillaz while it loads. Damn you 3G internet!
This version of War PIgs has different lyrics than the recorded version.
and The4455, good point, the original lyrics were more in line of the Black Sabbath and fashioned in the occult imagery. And I believe the song was actually called Walpurgis. The paradigm shift was largely due to the fact that Black Sabbath got threats and plain bad press, too, after the push the band got from being labelled 'occult'
Walpurgis
Witches gather at black masses
Bodies burning in red ashes
On the hill a chruch in ruin
Is the scene of evil doin'
It's the place for all bad sinners
Watch them eating dead rat's inners
Ahh I guess it's the same
Where ever you may go
Oh lord yeah
Carrying banners which denounce the lord
See me rocking in my grave
See them annoint my head with dead rats blood
See them stick the stake through me, oh
Don't hold me back oh I just gotta go
Satans got a hold of my soul now
Look at my brain in sync with bloodened sea
Look in my eyes, I'm there, I know, yeah
On the scene a priest appears
Sinners falling at his knees
Satan sends out funeral pyres
Casts the preist into the fire
It's the place for all bad sinners
Watch them eating dead rat's inners
Ahh guess it's the same
Where ever you may go
Oh lord yeah
