U need one of the new Heavy Machine with gate knob. It is the 'one'.
Is there really a new one??? You just fucking me with bro. I just look. LOL.

I don't mind some feedback noise. it makes you play faster because you want that noise gone. hahaha

i believe the newest builds of the lsd have been tweaked to be more bass friendly. i think they have an additional frequency toggle maybe?
Yep! Makes a HUGE difference! I believe I was the first one to get one with the toggle and mine is like #36???
Something like that.
Did anyone make a demo?

Excane did you?

I've been intrigued by one but the low end being killed, made me hesitate.

My Mountainking boner has been getting bigger lately.
I did, but like already stated - the low end is killed. If you try it with a blender it's ok, not great.

I'd pay for shipping both ways and include Norwegian candy. :joy:
Still down for this. Want to try it, but with Santana and life and shit I don't see myself buying it this year. Would only keep it for a week or two. :poke:

You know Alan, don't you? Try to get him to do a tour box?

I don't think he'd do that. I've spoke with him about a lot of things, and I doubt he'd do it. He's not a new company or anything, so it doesn't really help him. Plus the way I understood it was that he produces as much as he wants currently. At least that's the way it was previously when we spoke.

I've never had issues with getting him in email either. I wonder if it's because I was being a fanboi. LOL.

I have a Frequency LSD coming that he posted on Facebook last night too. I gotta try it on bass. I just have too. I'm working again on owning all his stock items. I'd love a whole Mountainking board. I wish he'd do some sort of modulation though. Like a fucked up phaser or delay.

Alright, yeah, I get that. Let me know if you wanna lend it to me sometime, though.

I'd make it worthwhile. ;)

Maybe (read: probably) it's just me but most HJ's aren't worth the effort when you could just DIY.

My bass set up is all Mountinking pedals  im looking forward to adding the stone 128. im not usually a fan of OD except for on bass and I just love the textures his pedal impart, seems to be part of his housesound. I've got an OG frequency LSD that I use in my bass setup and think it works great regardless of any apparent loss to the lows...the pedal is all about crazy oscillations and it excels at it, I think you're missing the point if you fault it for its frequency response :idk:

See that's what I was thinking about the Frequency LSD as well. I mean, most freak out pedals like that do lose a lot of lows, but I have other pedals in my chain to bring them back. So I'd be surprised if it's an issue. Of course I have shit completely get squashed before, but I feel like the Mountainking stuff just doesn't do that ever. I'd be surprised if it does.

Also DIY hand jobs are boring DOS. I can't look myself lovingly in the eyes.

yeah all of the mountainking pedals i've got sound great with every source i've thrown at them, but i've never tried an active bass so you might get weird results but I doubt it. i guess the one you're getting is the newest version thats been tweaked with the frequency toggle, alan makes dope bass specific pedals so i'm sure his mods will have a positive impact.
