That's cool, but not as cool as Dr Who playing a Yamaha SGV. Street cred!

Magic for Humans look pretty funny.
In the first 10 minutes the guy nearly got his ass kicked stealing someone's phone and made a kid cry by making a marshmellow disappear.
It's kinda like a sketch show made from youtube video skits.

I don't know if you can consider Better Call Saul an underrated show, but goddamn it's good and the only show that i've cared about in ages.

I'm watching it very slowly, at early season two at the moment and it's really good. Definitely not underrated though

I somehow still haven't watched Better Call Saul. I really need to though.
I watched Cargo last night. It wasn't quite as good as the short it was based on, but it was still quite good.
Also started watching the new Matt Groening thing. Disenchantment? Something like that. It's really not good. I was hoping for something more along the lines of Futurama quality, but the jokes and the characters are all so dull

Yeah, disenchantment quickly became background noise for me. Honestly the best cartoon I've watched in a while is Big Mouth. That had me rolling.
Also watched the first couple episodes of Patriot on Amazon. Looks like a lot of fun. Kurtwood Smith is playing his typical crabby character and that's as entertaining as anything.

I'm hopeful that Groening written episodes vanish and the show could be good. He's a lot like George Lucas .. He can take an idea (often not even original) and get it out there, but has better fan appreciation once real writers take over.

There were some pretty good things about Big Mouth. I thought the writers tried to do too many characters in the first season.
As far as newer animated programs, Rick & Morty is just so weird, smart and unconcerned with treating standard TV tropes seriously that I stop whatever I'm doing whenever I see it's on. There's something new to notice every time. It's hard to think of another show that's so coldly calculated but so openly invested in creating real characters that develop in believable ways. All I can think of that attempt the same is Deadwood or Mad Men.

I love rick and morty. Cracks me up. It sort of reminds me of if That 70's Show had focused on Red for the main character terrorizing his kids, which sounds like a much better show.
And I hear you about Big Mouth. They did have a lot of characters. I loved Jay's story arc though. He was probably my favorite out of the whole cast.

I thought Big Mouth was amazing, best cartoon I've seen in ages. Had me laughing a lot.
Disenchantment episode one was really not good, episode two was a bit better to me, got a few laughs. So I'm cautiously optimistic it will continue to get better?

It does, but it's not funny. It's just angsty and sad and weird. There's one full LOL moment for me in about ep6? (the one with the giant) Bunty has a throwaway line and it's brilliant. but yeah, it seems like they worried more about the background illustrations, casting (which tbf is excellent but the writing just isn't there) and action-setpiece animation than... actual jokes and dialogue

I don't know much about the fandom, but I've watched the R&M reddit and after a few weeks of understanding that I'm just not on that wavelength made me unplug. But I'm still excited about the show.

That is a fair assessment of any Reddit community.
