Totally forgot about this one! Might be a good shout. I have the vibrato he made and it's very nice.Chankgeez wrote:Maybe Scruffie still has some in stock?

yass - The Moving Box is loverly, one o'my faves - based on the OG MXR circuit, but tuned differently - a little more depth and resonance available. There's a VOX branded flnjr from the 8Ts that is basically the Moving Box, built by Guyatone for VOXPepe wrote:Reticon SAD1024A rulez!backwardsvoyager wrote:... the Guyatone Moving Box is forever the nicest sounding 4-knobber to my ears.
AVOID THIS PEDAL. Sounds great but not reliable and the company has the worst customer service I've ever experienced.backwardsvoyager wrote:ADA PBF Flanger
they're relatively similar (moreso when the BF-1 isn't under-powered on a mere 9v rectified, lol). I think the Moving Box can be a bit more...extreme, especially with respect to resonance, but they're closer to each other than, say to a Boss or Ibanez. Like two brothers.Pepe wrote:How does the Moving Box compare to that lovely BF-1 that you have, Dandolin?
I recently found a super old pic of my board in 2009 and i was still rocking that BF-3, maybe it's time for a nostalgic comebackcoldbrightsunlight wrote:awesome glad to hear it! Yeah the BF-3 looks very cool - extra features aren't super exciting but if it's a case of why not then... why not
I may be wrong but Shepards End is a barberpole flanger iirc, which is something very specific and kind of a few-tricks pony imo.backwardsvoyager wrote:I never tried a BF-3 but it certainly got a lot of hate purely on account of being digital, as did the PH-3 (which is a fantastic pedal also).
Some other good alternatives to keep an eye out for deals on would be the ADA PBF Flanger, Mr Black Shepards End, and Subdecay Starlight.
Yass! this one seems very interesting - lack of a manual control pushes my buttons, but all those modes, and a blend, help make up for it. Do you know whether this is BBD based? Or DSP? They seem awfully shy about it in the product description (haven't looked at the manual yet). Relatively low current draw, soCrazyDroneDream wrote:Got an Oblivion coming by early next week. I’m excited for it. Seems like a terrific flanger from all the demos.
Pedal arrived today. Played it for an hour. I love the versatility and sounds coming out of it! Of course this is based on limited use obviously so far. Going to play it a lot more tomorrow. I will keep you guys posted on my thoughts of it. As far as if it’s BBD or DSP it doesn’t say in the manual.Dandolin wrote:Yass! this one seems very interesting - lack of a manual control pushes my buttons, but all those modes, and a blend, help make up for it. Anyway - congrats - do let us know what you think....
