So—got an email saying my Lyra will be ready in 2 weeks.

I planned to cancel since I went ahead and started Eurorack.

Yet to hear any Lyra 8 that's blown my socks off but not actively looking. Although there was one clip of someone playing one with their easel and the pair seemed to go together quite nicely.

I'm weird with that one...I appreciate it's something different. I'd be a hypocrite to say, "I feel like you can get those sounds from other things" because that same sentiment applies to A LOT of my other gear . I don't know what it is? The end result (the sounds) are cool. I'm just not sure about the application.

Just want to say the dudes at SOMA are good people. Nothing but a pleasure to communicate with. I remember getting my LYRA and one of dudes may or may not have asked if I was interested in the pipe. I politely declined.

It reminds me of the outdated microscopes we used in middle school so it could be triggering bad memories of when it finally dawned on me science was not my strong suite
