Especially their micro series, but even their 70s stuff. I have honestly never played a bad Guyatone pedal and often they flat out shred.
The mini OD-2 is my fave overdrive, or at least my favorite screamer. The mids are perfect, it sounds good, and it only has two knobs. Plus it was cheap.

I also had an 80s NADY distortion that looked like a re-labelled Guyatone. It had a kinda SD-9 type sound with a crunch knob. It also sounded awesome.

Who are you trying to convince? Us or yourself?

It's the same exact joke my girlfriend says to me anytime I tell her I'm a nice guy. If you have no sense of humor, that's on you.

Fuzz seems like an effect people use to mask their sloppy playing. I like to accentuate my sloppy playing; it is actually a core component of what I do, which is why I am migrating to a cleaner sound overall.

Quite frankly I don't understand why, they had the dudes from Sonic Youth buying their pedals and Annie Clark gave me a major GAS for the tapeworm delay which I am still searching for.

Goodnight sweet prince.
Most if not all their pedals were GGG kits.

WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU GET THIS INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thought analogue haven just had ''older" stuff as usual....and a bunch of cloudbusters didnt make it?! dang I got the second to last one before they went poof on a.h. ...king skychord punishment fanboy here....remember asking Stephen a yr ago if the projects dead, and he mysteriously said "dead or alive" and sent me a cheesy techno song named dead or alive lol
My logic, I think, was that King Capitol Punishment stuff remained in stock/returned to stock at dealers after Skychord vanished (this is still the case, fyi). Love the company, really enjoyed my Desi Parva when I had it.

Been surprised Fromel hasn't blown up like many other of the builders from the same "era". Or am I just missing out on everything?
Yes they are. He just doesn't do finishes like he used to. I talked to John on the phone last year sometime and he seemed busier than ever.
That's good to hear. I remember him being super nice to deal with, so cool that its still going.
I still want one of his Dimension C Seraph guys. Wonder if he'd still make one... they're not listed on his site. Might have to email...

I'm curious what the tapeworm is, though. :?:

I took a Brownies & Cream in trade for something long ago and it was a BSIAB2 on a GGG board but built absolutely terribly. I actually cant imagine building pedals the way this one was built because it would take twice as long as building the same pedal with neat lead dress. Then I looked at the rest of the line and it was obvious that all the circuits were basic products that had been around in the DIY community for years.
