This must've been about 4 years ago...I bought an overdrive from them, got it, and it had no drive. I could increase the volume a little bit with it but that was it. The response was so weird I didn't know what to do. It was hard to communicate with them, I think they were moving or something, got no where trying to get a replacement.
I would of asked them to send you a video clip of them using this "so called same rig in their shop" to show you how they get the overdriven tones out of this pedal. Put them on the spot and try and get them to admit that they are full of shit.
