But I doubt Skully can shred like Annie.
Never listened to St. V but already well confirmed

With that neck and headstock wood, I want to see a red one.

Reel brief CME run through - they're still thin on the ground so far (w/ more shipments pushed into late May/early June).

Yea, that was a perplexing demo to say the least.

Bit of an odd demo, we learned it sounds amazing through a cranked princeton. What guitar doesn't???? Still looks awesome though.

Yeah, not a huge fan of a guitar demo lacking cleans. Honestly, seems like a better demo for the amp.
Still one of the coolest guitar shapes I've seen come out in a while.

Rad to see another female doing demos though. Hope they use her for more than just the gear designed with women in mind.

I'm sure it was to show it can get that "St Vincent sound". More a demo for her fans that might buy it than for just your everyday gear nerd I guess.

Indeed. Annie records mostly with a similar setup (small vintage amp pushed 2 the limit), & those were her songs (except for that solo from No Doubt's "Don't Speak), which I don't think get played much in demos otherwise (kinda wish CME's had used a capo, but then again it was less than three damned minutes). Guitar World also did one recently, again at less than three minutes :idk: :

I'm a huge St Vincent fan, I just thought it was an odd demo. Do that stuff absolutely, but why not carry on and show its range off? I was so surprised when the video suddenly ended, thought it would be much longer.

Ugh, Paul from Guitar World.
He starts a guitar demo with delay then immediately goes into Vai-esque playing after only a minute.
I really wish Guitar World would get their shit together.
