Big old necro bump.

So I've successfully done the thing I do with every delay pedal (which is part of the reason I'm not really a delay pedal person, I think) -- I dial in One of these Days and a big old swash of whole note noise making and then I kind of run out of ideas because it isn't a reverb . So those two are banked and saved and now, by my count I have roughly a bajillion patches that I could be using and I should really dig into it more. Have browsed the relevant threads here and on TGP, but a lot of that stuff doesn't apply to me (and I don't just want to ape homie #1 resincum's settings because, you know, integrity!) So, uh, anyone got any ideas for me?

Other assorted thoughts:
It has brought me back to playing bass a bit, which is always nice, but I'd like to integrate this into my synths a little bit more which is trickier since they're sending a mostly uninterrupted signal (meaning you can't really get the most out of the delay, particularly on the more normal settings).

Also is there any way to change the character of the Terra Echo preset? I like a lot of things about it but the character of the repeats sounds a little cheezs to me (in a bad way).

also that Edge preset with the dotted eights actually sounds really good but don't tell anyone I said that

and the shimmer sounds really good too

mess with the resonance and other setting that is exclusive to the terra echo mode to mess with the character. messing with the EQ goes a long way too. probably will be cheesy in any case. that's what it is

something fun can be assigning LFOs to swap delay modes/times or anything in the SFX patch. envelope control can get weird too.. I get the most of it by dialing in super short delay times (.1-.10 sec) and going crazy with assignments. it's like a super customizable chorus/flange/bitcrusher/trem

try assigning an LFO to the waveform of the filter mode. cops that Stone In Focus vibe

short delay time with the shimmer setting can yield some weird ass BOC sounds (tune it like shit)

another fun thing is setting up 2 banks with real long times(10 secs), but slightly off from each other and letting them breath.. lose yourself real quick (you have to go into settings to get dual patches going)
