I like that last Prurient album and I dig a lot of Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement stuff but I mean, it's comfortable sounds. Nothing mind blowing or life changing. At the moment when I want someone yelling at me over noise I'll still just put on Pig Heart Transplant or Pharmakon.

Neofolk is pagan-inspired folk music that borrows elements from industrial and neoclassical music; it is a post-industrial genre.

Sol Invictus and Current 93 were the major bands back in the day, Nurse With Wound has become associated with those bands because he/they, too, mashed other genres with industrial, and Chelsea Wolfe is a modern performer of the style. (Edit: and David Tibet is actually in NWW, so.)
