Haha that pic rules, Josh!

My goal this weekend is to fully finish and order the Heisenberg's pcb prototype by the end of Sunday night. Getting closer Tim!

Ryan wrote:Well guys, the Heisenberg won't be cheap, I'm sorry. It's gonna be my most expensive pedal to date, in the $350 to $400 range. *ducks for cover* I know that's a lot for a distortion pedal and I get offended when I see lame businesses selling Tube Screamers and Fuzz Faces for $400, it's gross and the price is never justified... but trust me, this ain't like that!

There's 2 royalties that have to be paid for every Heisenberg, to the government and the university. This is a big chunk off the top off the pedal's price and it's just the nature of the game.. this is a proprietary technology that has to be licensed to use. But there's also the cost of the junctions, they're more expensive than any other part of the pedal, a big addition to the cost.

So hopefully folks will take that into account, that this isn't a $400 Tube Screamer and there's a good reason for the high price. Over time that price will come down too, as the packaging gets smaller and more mass produced for example. These junctions are all hand-assembled but in the future they'll be mechanized. Also I'm using 3 junctions to give you the full prototype experience, with junctions specially tailored to each gain stage. A top notch 3-in-1 distortion pedal with cutting edge technology!
