pricey, but so cool! I think I'm gonna order a second one soon, to put on a wall

Awesome, thanks! The price isn't that bad considering the work that has to go into them, but yeah, not getting any of the $800 ones.

I think they're actually woven by machines rather than by hand. But still, I think for 275-300 the price is ok-ish, considering how original they are

This one is just nuts, think imma get it

i definitely like the idea of two interacting LFO's, at least one of which has a random setting. and the smooth waveform knob. very cool, except now i'll be stalking this thread all the time...

I don't know about a dedicated smooth waveform control. To me this makes most sense:

knob - vibrato depth
knob - vibrato speed
knob - random modulation
knob - sine/tri/ramp/square/pinched/etc/order/may/vary
knob - mix

soft stomp - bypass
soft stomp - tap for tap tempo / hold for hollow earth style manual lfo shape (using depth knob for shaping)

I'm not super hot about adding more controls than this. I don't want to make a huge pedal. think chase bliss size, with the two foot switches.

I've been working a couple hours evenings this week. mainly just getting a new microcontroller configured and running (the old vibrato uses an 8bit avr, the new one a 32bit, same family as my delay/anti nautilus, but smaller package). I have a 4-day weekend coming up so I think I can prototype something by the end of that. the actual vibrato circuit will be easy. just reuse the old one's with improvements.

I'm also looking for software that'll help me create interesting waveshapes and turn it into numbers I can use :(

because I can add that in entirely in software with zero extra parts needed, so it doesn't affect the feasibility of building batches

the old vibratos has one modulated led for each lfo shape. I might just use a single led this time around. I have some RGB leds so I might experiment with it shifting color as you change the shape, could be cool! and it would help with knowing at-a-glance what setting you're on. red means sine, blue means square, etc.

I feel like I saw something similar to this recently? Will dig around (and may be off the mark). What sort of numbers do you mean? PM me? notice me senpai notice me?

Would you be able to add a dry switch so it can turn on your dry signal and be a fucked up chorus as well? If I remember right in my skull bag, vibrato is a just a dry killed chorus.

that's what the mix knob is for. the last version of my vibrato had it, it's not going away, sounds great
