That way at least you don't have to buy the adapter / wall wart if that doesn't prove to be the problem.
I'm still a bit lost on the whole power thing, my Ciokolate will probably be here pretty soon but I guess I can't power the In Limbo with that either as I understood apart from the 15V it also needs a different polarity.
Anyway, I can't really send my Ciokolate along with the pedal without too dumb high postal charges I guess so nobody apart from me will actually benefit from it which is also pretty lame, that's kinda my thinking.

Seriously? This thing needs reverse polarity 15V?
Tris, if you get one of the inverting cables with the chocolate bar, you could probably hook up the 15V outlet with that.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but would it run OK with 12V?

Yeah duder said it would just have less headroom, you could even go down to 9v I think

The US tourbox is on the way now. Just a note, this delay is designed for 15V (-ve tip). There's a power supply going with it (I've put a US travel adapter on it so it will work for you guys). You can use a standard 9V but it will distort super easy. With 12V and single coils it works pretty good for me though. You can also use 18V or 24V - just make sure it's DC and -ve tip :) .

Tracked it down, that's the original post, I guess -ve tip means reverse polarity, I dunno... :idk:
Means I can use it with my Pedal Power and the EHX DMM cable if that's the case.

Negative tip is what it looks like to me. Positive ground would be reverse polarity

How can the ground be positive?

The ground is just a reference point. So you can have positive or negative ground depending on the rest of the circuit. The ground is at 0V and the rest of the circuit runs at either +9V or -9V. The difference between what the circuit is running and the ground is your positiveness or negativeness, which is determined by the polarity of the power supply.

Powering the In Limbo: Normal, boss style. Tip is negative.
I thought the headroom was really, really impressive for an analog delay - even though it'll distort earlier it'll still be pretty good at 9 or 12v I reckon. And you're using pretty low output pickups yeah?

It does run at 9V but it's not amazing. Sounded soooooooo much better at 15V.

Anyway Tris I like the idea of going to the shop, I have the day off on Friday so I will try hit up a few local shops who might have power supplies. And then I will post the dang thing to you.

Yeah not sure how it is in the UK but here you can get universal power supplies which you can change the voltage and have adjustable adapters/polarity. You might be able to find one of them somewhere..

Yeah Tristian the cioklate should work great. I'm sure if it doesn't by default work with boss style on the 15v output it should come with polarity switching adapters.

Just to clear up if there's still any confusion about polarity it works on normal boss style(aka negative tip) except it needs 15v.

Ok, I've posted it on to Tristan. The pedal and power supply both work, all is well.

Sorry you all had to deal with my idiocy.

I'm going to miss that thing, getting to play it again today was sweeet. I'm seriously impressed you made an analogue delay that small with that many cool features (plus it sounds so nice!). Clearly a builder to watch!

Thanks man. Glad you got it sorted in the end. Was it the uk-euro adapter in the end?

Yeah it was, so there was never actually an issue in the first place!
