What's the altitude here? considering the kind of trees it seems to be under 2000 meters, but i might be wrong, it's really a new kind of view for people used to Alps (like me), would love to make some excursions there.

How do y'all prefer to carry your camera? I find that when i have mine in a bag then I don't take it out often enough to justify carrying it, and when I have it just on a normal strap I find it a huge bother. I'm considering one of these, but am a little hesitant just because it seems expensive for a camera strap:

Carrying the camera with the simple standard strap is one of the most annoying things to me but I haven't found something that could work, because anyway I m always gonna have my backpack. I always end changing position every 10 steps if holding the camera, and then put the camera back in the bag. Lately I have decided to take the camera out only if I see something I want to photograph. Obviously It's not good if you see wild animals because by the time I take it out they're surely gone, but at least the amount of random useless shots is restricted.
I also carry just one lens mounted on the camera, usually a 16-55 that's good for most things, and leave the big ones at home (unless I know I m going to see a lot of fauna).

Wow!! Those picture!!! So different from Canada and USA.

I don't think I'll go back to the USA until March... it's a long drive and the days are getting shorter. I'll continue to do some hike near Quebec.

I'm using an iPhone 8... what kind of camera are you using Dowi? Youre picture are great!

I use a mirrorless camera, a Fuji xt10, mainly because it’s small and portable. Nothing too fancy, andwith a couple of right lenses (stabilized) it gives really good results, for an amateur like me that’s enough, and i don't see any difference if compared to reflex cameras with the same pricetag.
I bought it 4 years ago, right now you can easily find those quite cheap, i think 250ish $ .

Anyway i would love to see more stuff from you in Quebec, particularly during autumn/winter. I bet the colors here are amazing!

It's the best place near quebec for snowshoeing. There's already a lot of snow there.
