Clarity? The loop changes more than just volume? Does it get lofi? Or how would you describe it? Interesting and unexpected results.

A Revolver with 120 seconds is not really interesting to me. Would love to see an overdub function instead on a 16 second loop.

Yea, what WMK describes kind of turns me off a bit damn it. I'm looking for a looper solution and I know this is more of a glitch blooper but still, I had high hopes for the loops not degrading. Son of a bitch. lol

Red Panda Tensor? Or I find really powerful to combine the HExe with a looper, so that you can sample/mangle first on the HExe and then do longer loops and overdubs with the later.

I actually used the Tensor with the Revolver previously! So, that's a good idea.

Just did some testing. I think my perception of the loops degrading was because I used to have the DX16 out front and as the volume dropped it got sputtery because I was running that loop into a bit of gain.

The manual says noon on the fade control is no fade but there is no 'dead zone' where that is the case. Its just that 'fade in' ends and 'fade out' immediately begins in the sweep of the pot. So it takes a while but the level of the loop is slowly fading the whole time if you're at noon. You have to go a little before noon to be at a super fast fade in to keep the resulting loop at full volume forever.

DX-L just landed, yummy yummy in my tummy

I like my DXL but I'm going to be honest, it's not for me. I keep trying to fall in love with the Revolver and I can't for some reason. It's a great pedal, it just doesn't fit what I do no matter how hard I try. It would be great in a desktop application for me, I just haven't been able to set that up yet. Sooo for now, it sits. Unloved. Untouched. haha. It's cool though. As soon as I get some fucking shit done in my world, I'll be finally putting my studio together. Hoping to complete it this summer.


Anyway, I really, really miss the Stammen V2. I have a Stretch Weaver coming today as well. Does that glitch? I guess I'll find out. hah

I am and have been very curious to try one of the Revolver-DX pedals... the DX-L seems even more in my slipstream. But I've never
been able to align and synchronize bank account and opportunity... like two strings nearly in-tune, but not quite... and so discordant
sad times for me.

Jwar—I would imagine the Stretch Weaver can glitch for you if one of the two things being fed into it is a glitcher. Possibs are endless...
Stammen is a fine pedal... (as in "Damn, she fine!") ... I have an early version (with the on/off button)... but want the
new version too... (in addition, as well)... BUT ... do I want to want so much?

I wonder if the documentation will do a better job of describing what the LEDs are
describing when you move the various knobs. The row of LEDs change... but are they
representing the knob position? Something about the buffer?

I do think having a Mode knob is better than having to depress a button to then get
into a mode to then press the button to move only in one direction to change modes.

I always thought that the "Dry/Wet" switch on the Revolver DX-L should have been a
Mode switch that allowed you to go up or down through the available modes. This is better.

Also... the TRS stereo ins/outs and the stereo ping-pong seem intriguing. I also like
how the pedal allows for an external footswitch AND an expression pedal to be used.

The table of comparison between the DX and IV models also states that there are
8 presets available and that "each preset can store up to 5 different sounds and
sweep between them using an expression pedal". It also says that
the sound quality of the IV is "Digital, 16bit 44.1kHz AD/DA, 32bit internal precision".

Intriguing.
