I haven't heard any mention of shitty sliding nuts and I believe the power supply might be better (for my purposes anyways since I'm planning on getting the Braids, which needs a 5V source that the Pittsburgh power doesn't supply): http://www.analoguehaven.com/tiptopaudi ... endingkit/ You can also get the z-ears, rails, and power supply separately for about the same price (different colour and hp options):
Aha, Did not realize it came with power. Great success!

Happy Ending Kit fucking rules if anyone is on the fence about it. I love mine. I have a Bento Box case for it which fits like a glove and I've gigged with it multiple times.
Also, Behndy, it's so CUTE. Curious to see it together and what you think of it
Mine was delivered to my home, as in my home away from University, as in not where I am right now But still delivered! So exicted How does it sound?

I'm starting to think I'd like to build a dual PM Cell 48 like this: But like with other modules
But more interested in a single 90. That way when I run out of room, I can get a second one and attach them with those wood sides. Not a whole lot of ways to upgrade from a dual 48

I figure when I want to expand I'd get a second dual 48 or maybe a separate single 90. Modularize my modular
EEEE! So cute! I'm so excited! I'm going home tomorrow and this is the first thing I'm doing. Maybe it will satiate my modular gas a little...
It won't It's going to make me want more modular
Bringing back this thread because I have not only one, but two littleBits synths and a Garmin video camera: Also I've saved about half the money I need to buy an actual modular rack. So there's that too...

They actually sound pretty good. I was going to buy my wife one for Christmas, since she's been wanting to learn the ways of the modular. She just stares at my meager little setup like I didn't though, but I think I still might, because it seems like the simplest way to understand the function of each part of a synth voice.
You bastids are infiltrating my skull with this stuff. Is the MuffWiggler DIY section basically the FreeStompboxes/DIYstompboxes of modular DIY or is it a broader swath of sources to go to?

Yeah I'm really surprised at how good these little speakers sound. I want to get a headphone to 1/4 jack so I can try to plug these into my amp.
Also it really is such a great way to understand a synth voice. It really was a perfect intro for me to get into the modular world. I think I understand more what I want out of a future modular setup after playing with these...which is apparently just a lot of delay and random oscillators because I really enjoy messing with them
