That's right, I didn't know. Wasn't meaning to troll.

I want to name some shit off too, but I'm not going to because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. There are some that make me want to puke though.
I'll say this Malekko makes ugly fucking pedals too. On that note Mountainking makes lame ass designs as well. Cool pedals, but shit cases.

+100 Love the sound of my Megalith to bits, but shit's just looks like an off the shelf label-maker. The new silkscreened ones are quite an improvement though!
Looks kind of lame to me. And that's a pity, being such a cool pedal.
I believe he is offering these minimal designs as an "Alumina" finish and charging less than pedals with more elaborate designs... not that Tom's pedals have high price tags anyway. And for the amount of things that any one of his pedals can do, they're all well worth the price.
So yeah, it may not be a top-of-the-line Fuzzhugger design, but that's the point. Same sounds as the "prettier" pedals at a bit of a discount.
I must add also that Tom's designs are the best on the market. Always dazzling.

It is an off the shelf label maker, I prefer it myself to the silkscreened Megalith. I worked in a staging (audio/video/lighting) company warehouse for a bit and we had labels like this on all sorts of gear. Also reminds me of my uncle's garage full of junk, neatly stored in old film canisters/cookie tins/peanut cans with tidy labels on all of it. Maybe that's the attraction, they look like my uncle made them.
I think some of the mountainking label-maker pedals look ok, they're big and simple, but the cornish ones are truly horrible. If I ever lost my fucking mind, turned stupid and got a cornish pedal I'd request him to leave that stupid shit off it and I'd pay someone to make it look nice.
