I'm not normally into sleepy bear vocals (I don't know any metal words), so it's great to hear when it works well.

Is there a database of words to describe metal vocals?
I'm stuck in wikipedia now. Sleepy bear is starting to look good, "shriek" and "growl" isn't terribly descriptive when there's so many different ones of each. Like, sleepy bear vocals doesn't sound like the normal processed to shit guttural growls that too many death metal bands use.

The album is great, you should listen to it. Composed and developed, not too muddy, not too produced, excellent mix, still lo-fi enough to feel like it should have been handed to you on cassette by a friend with adhd.

I hate it when bands put things on bandcamp and don't let you buy it.

I still count Sventevith as one of the greatest Black Metal albums of all time.

I'm not able to listen to any of this right now as I'm at work, but jesus the amount of bands you guys know in this one genere/style is insane. I mean, I guess I shouldn't be that surprised, but it still kinda boggles my mind. I'm not very well versed in any one genre of music.

I've been listening to a lot of Nightbringer lately. I don't see them mentioned much and I'm not sure why as I think they're one of the sickest black metal bands out there right now.
