Whatever happened to the Monolith thingie?

I still have them. I was just practicing riffs of my band with Pascal (you remember that guy). The LSTR fits pretty well for this. At the rehearsal space i play right now the BAT Ritual and the Serious Special Twosome. (But those will change for sure again...)

Someone get me a drummer. I'm ready to go. Realizing how awesome and simple the stuff I have is and how I don't really need more.
Of course, a volume pedal, delay, and another fuzz would be fun, but this is really all I need right here. So happy.

I GUESS MY ECT IS SPECIAL CAUSE IT HAS YELLOW LEDSES. That looks like a comfy space though for sure!

The blue ones are bright as hell and I want to change them in mine.

My yellow LEDs are diffused instead of waterclear. I think I'm gonna swap mine out for waterclear

You could always just add a resistor in series with the one on the LED. Quicker and easier (maybe?) than changing the whole thing.

Or rock out some straight-up tape over them. That's what my bandmate did on this Ghost Disaster he used to use. Hahaha.

I guess I'm the only one that likes super bright LEDs  :idk:

I've only had one pedal EVER that I couldn't take the brightness of the LEDs- it was the Music PCB tap tempo Trem that Kb has now, I loved how bright it was that it filled the room with a pulsing blue, but I couldn't look directly at it ever cause it was just so intense

Nice and simple, I miss that sometimes.

How's the Excelsior, pretty cool? Sound killer with the BAT stuff and dirt/fuzz in general? Stock speaker good to go?? I'd imagine it requires swapping at that price point, maybe....

I don't mind bright LEDs at all. I have the all-white elements, and that thing's LED is HELLA bright, I think that is about as close to Too Bright as i get.

The first ECT I had had those yellow LEDs but I quite like the blue ones. I like the super bright LEDs in general. They may hurt my eyes sometimes, but the ambiance is worth it to me.

But yeah that Tremolo LED is crazy bright haha.

Hartke bass combo - 140 watts - 15" speaker. The speaker is kinda shitty and rattles sometimes but it can get real loud and thick. It will do for now.

Sorry for the late response. MEC and i had a nice chat about it couple months ago: viewtopic.php?f=149&t=23207&p=456585#p449415
If you don't want to read that old shit: i like it. It is very bright but i have always a pedal w/ tone control in front of it. The tremolo sound is good. I also play it quite often with bass what is "ok" (the E-string is a bit bass less - on the other hand that is at home with the family upstairs fine --> not that deep bass resonances wandering through the house).
