I dig the simplistic yet surprisingly eye-catching hand numbered enclosure

Hey man,

I've been reading through your thread and following updates for a while now and just wanted to say you really are producing some cool stuff. Really enjoying following your work and I'll eventually get in touch for a build of my own.

Cheers,

Mat

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. It means a lot!

Last night I finished replacing all the wires on the Big Muff. Turns out I forgot a few capacitors so I think I'll be ordering those in the next few days along with some other parts I need for various other projects

Got back from a weekend visiting my grandfather and father- was greeted by Rot Gut's Weird Sound Generator that's in for a rehouse and fresh up. Upon resoldering the output cable and switching it to DC power, I got it to turn on, but the output was SUPER weak. So I gutted the wires from the board tonight, drilled the enclosure, mounted the pots, and prepared it for when the rest of the parts come in.

Going to work on debugging Wes' fuzz tonight I think as well.

Got the FY-2 side working. Just had to flip the transistors. In that case, I might as well get ahold of a new chip for the FZ-1, when I first put it in and fired it up it was 2am about a week ago and the chip was flipped. I'm hoping that is the issue. Also seems like the blend circuit isn't receiving power for whatever reason. Maybe because I daisy chained the two blend circuits to one ground and positive wire to hook to the power supply. Going to sort that out as well

I'm sorry for the lack of updates on my end. It's been an incredibly busy past week and a half and remainder of the week for me. Last week saw 56 hours in the office, this week saw my wife and I's birthday party over the weekend, my wife's birthday on Monday, a catering food tasting for the wedding tonight, a birthday dinner with my mother on Thursday, my birthday as well as my grandfathers and cousins this Saturday, and a birthday party for a friend this Sunday. Going to resume work on Monday the 27th. I appologize again for the delays. All parts are in hand to finish everything- Wes fuzz needs blends and FZ-1 side sorted out, WeHuntKings Muff needs wired and the tone bypass completed, and the Rot Gut rehouse needs the board wired and chips socketed.

Tonight is my first night back in the bench. Got the new ic's for Wes' fuzz I'm going to pop in and test and hopefully that will solve the maestro side's silence. Then for wehuntkings muff I'm going to wire the tone bypass and the rest Of the pedal up and hopefully have it out. That'll clear the two big things off my slate and I've not got nearly as much going on this week to actually spend time with stuff! I want to get the fuzz into the hands of the people!

GOOD NEWS on Wes' fuzz- FZ-1 side IS NOW WORKING. It was a blown chip. The FZ-1 RIPS. The only thing I am noticing is when the FZ-1 is on and the FY-2 is engaged there is a huge volume decrease. I'm going to check over my wiring and probably end up making new blend boards since they still aren't working as they should.

Working on WeHuntKings Muff now that I know both fuzzes are working on Wes'

95% of WeHuntKings Muff is a go. I just need to wire up the tone bypass and tidy up all the spaghetti and then it will be off to him. Sounds MASSIVE. The mids control is kind of subtle but does add some OMMPH.

Looking at schematics that I've found, the tone bypass requires a 2DPT. BUT, when I wired it into my Madbean circuits, all I did was wire a switch from lug 1 of the tone pot to another spot on the board. I need to figure out which spot that was, and I think I will do it that way instead

Dude the FZ-1 is fucking incredible. Like holy shit good.

ALSO GOT WEHUNTKINGS MUFF DONE IN LIKE 2 HOURS HOLY SHIT. I'll be mailing it Thursday I think, I want to do some demos of it possibly against my Green Muff and see what the differences are and whatnot.
