http://www.smallsoundbigsound.com/sparkle-motion/it's a rangemaster with some added controls. pretty simple really! lots more sounds though...
the additions include:
input control - same as turning down the volume on the guitar, keyboard, etc. it also changes the input impedance, introducing some "tone suck" or darkening, making it useful as a clean boost, slightly dark boost, etc.
EQ and treble/bass toggle - the switch changes from treble boost mode to full range mode and the EQ knob introduces more bass at both the input and output of the circuit. when switched UP and EQ at full, you get a really dark OD/fuzz...
bias - changes the transistor bias from +/- 3.5V - 6.5V. gritty and misbiased to clean and full.
a few other notes:
*i tried a buffer at the input to change the "input" control's response and i wasn't in love with it. it added a little *too much* sparkle, in my opinion.
*i also tried a cap in parallel with the input pot for keeping highs as you lower the input, but was also not too much in love with it. i feel as though you can already get those tones in the pedal and thought that the darkening of the control was more useful than another brightening element...
*all of the controls are pretty interactive and have subtle to not-so-subtle ranges, depending on where they're set.
Oops..forgot about your website

but anyway, thanks for the info!

I know this phrase is used alot here, but...Have you tested the circuit on bass?

i have. it's pretty cool on bass, honestly...
you can get some neat bass cut/treble boosting going on, but you can also dial in some gritty clean boost and some heavy dark bass boost too!
not a bass demo, but here's another one nonetheless.

Got it and the shirt!
Really cool boost. It doesn't have as much volume by itself (not what I was expecting anyways), but if you click it on after a dirt pedal it gets super loud. Kinda strange, but awesome. I love the tonal options, and the graphics as well. It's a great "preamp" or always on type of pedal. I had a SHO for a bit and it seemed brittle when working with other dirt pedals. This guy doesn't though. Very full and natural.

You do it after or before your fuzz?
Before my fuzzface it seemed to add some cutting quality and clarity. After it added BASSSS (how I have it set up anyways).
I was actually able to get some similar low gain sounds I can get from my Fuck. They play really well together, and this after the 4545 sounds HUGE!!
Oh, and I got 001.
