Anybody have any experience with the Huge Box? It sounds great on the bass demo they did, although I'll be using it primarily for guitar. It says it's well-balanced, I'm just wondering if there's a big ol mi scoop (doesn't really sound like it).

And the one-knob operation is me-proof

I did a demo a while back. It's great in a chain as well.

The Lead II is a very underrated axe :?:

I like pedals with one knob--the phantom octave is another :thumb:

I agree. The very first band I was ever in, the singer/guitarist played a black/black Lead II with a maple fretboard, and I always dug it. I really wish I could find one around here.

The Huge box i have played...

It's what happens when you don't lose your muff in the mix.

It does sound HUGE.

somebody needs to tell me what the more psych fuzz is...

Freq LSD vs. Psych Byke vs. Ruckus.

GO
I've got a fuzzbox and i'm not afraid to use it

GO

The FreqLSD is in a different class than the PB or Ruckus..it an intermodulating self oscillating freak show fuzz where the other two are more normal. The PB is a kick ass lo fi, gritty fuzz that sounds like many of the settings on that Gretsch fuzz thing Benny demoed a day or so ago. Very similar. The Ruckus sounds a lot like my Penny Fingerprint if you can believe that. It has that same fizz decay and feel. Pretty wild.
