Pulled the trigger on a crunchlab/liquifire set with red/black covers to match the guitar

Also got a set of the SD triple shot rings...I'm thinking I might need to install them on all of my guitars :omg:

Seriously time for a gear purge to pay off this stuff.

-late to the parties-

Secret I learned from Iams: When the duo sonic is in the middle position it wires the two single coils to replicate a humbucker. This is my favorite position.

:thumb:

However I've recently sold my last guitar with a humbucker in it. I need to find a cheap epiphone Sg to fill my lack of buckerness.

Do it! Everyone needs at least 1 (or 3 in my case) humbucker equipped guitars.

Again late to the party but I love my Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucker :)

I use it a lot more than my NoCaster in the bridge :thumb:

This is the key, in my opinion. I prefer singles overall, but with clever wiring you can get all your humbucker tonez plus different single coil tonez and get the most bang for your buck... that is, unless you're looking for crazy high output, in which case you'd better just get yourself a dirty fingers or something crazy like that with a 22k output.

Good news everyone! Apparently I bought the buckers and triple shot from the same shop, and he refunded the shipping for one of them. I has $4.

i just swapped out the humbuckers in my my sg standard for some tonerider rebel 90's, i couldn't be happier with my fuzz sound right now. i have a 80's ibanez black beauty that has three unknown humbuckers too me but they sound really good. i was going to put those sg pickups in there but i decided against it.

Along with my epic dual fuzz/toronado day, new pups arrived:

Big props to banjo mikez, they got them out right away and gave me some cool free stuff (a ton of assorted tortex picks, string winder, buncho cool stickers)
Go with them if you are looking for new pickups :thumb:

I'm tempted to mess around with the stock pickups for a few days before swapping them just to say I did

one of the ORIGINAL Bill Lawrence Wilde L-500's made famous A La Dimebag Darrell.

These puppies RIP. Don't fuck with the Seymour Duncan shit, they're actually a whole lot less output than the original BIll Lawrence shit.

If you don't know, Bill designed a fair amount of Seymour Duncan's stuff, was Larry DiMarzio's mentor & Teacher, and makes hands down the best pickups on the planet. For like half the price of any of those guys.

I gutted the toronado and set up the triple shots and ran into a bit of a snag.

The crunch lab is drilled/tapped all wonky and I had to send it back (dimarzio is based in Staten Island which is pretty close to where I live).
But now I can't play my new guitar

I'm gunna finish setting up the neck pickup, but the cheapskate/slacker in me doesn't want to throw on new strings and set it up before the new bridge pup arrives
