So when you say you ordered several tone mods, are you talking about the switches on the side? What do those do? And then there was a "Scoop" added too? How does all of it work together, if you don't mind me asking? C

Here it is in Ian's words:

there are 3 controls - volume (self evident),

scoop - turn it all the way down and you get the 'stock' fy-2 sound
with the mid scoop full on, as you turn it up you are getting rid of
the mid scoop eq and boosting the volume as well.

fuzz - mixes between the 2 amp stages of the circuit, the sound is
reliant on capacitors 2 and 3.

the switches - all up = stock, all down = added bass.

cap 1 - the input cap, pretty subtle but lets a bit more bass into
the circuit

cap 2 - alters the sound of the first stage of the circuit, turn fuzz
all the way down to hear this cap.

cap 3 - alters the sound of the second stage of the circuit, turn
fuzz all the way up to hear this cap.

so the sound of the pedal and the way the fuzz control works depends
on what caps you have switched in.

It's very versatile and I can still get to killer FY-2 sound I love. Highly recommended.
