I have some expensive stuff and some cheap stuff, i like quirky things, I have two danelectros, one 90's one I believe were made in china..? which is great, and a modern korean one which is pants, I also had a genuine american thinline telecaster, bloody awful it was, horrible thing, got an 80's tokai breezy sound and its the best guitar ever with the sweetest neck.
My view is as long as the basics are right anything else can be sorted, electrics, frets etc.
I also have a handmade gordon smith, really really beautifully made, but no character, i prefer the 90's danelectro, im going to sell the GS, go figure...!!

Rick Richards from the Georgia Satellites has played a plexi glass guitar for years , think he uses it for slide work.

1 of the last year bunch..... New Pu's in soon, also new hardware.

Rosewood fingerboard pretty nice guitar, i just cant fault it, plug it in tomorrow.
If you want to be really picky,just two things really, truss rod cover is not the best as its not engraved, got that sorted already though and the two dots on the edge of the fretboard for the 12th fret arent exactly inline, but thats really splitting hairs to be honest, will stick photos up tomorrow.
got the new slash model coming next week from a guy who is supposed to source the best examples too.
getting ebony fingerboard on that one.
I reckon these are as good or not better than any epis out there...
and a fraction of the price.
oh got a case too, its ok, not the best but does the job, think it was $50 for the case...!!!
will stick a couple of better photos up tomorrow.

for the money im actually stunned...!!! the finish is brilliant on it, really top class, dont expect a 4k guitar, but you wont get better for about £400.....!!!!!!
