The unique thing about futurama is that it's a (lowbrow) comedy at best...it's not a downer film/show approaching serious themes using the medium of a cartoon...
it's a silly show about delivering packages in outerspace with a few nerdy jokes, yet it still pulls at your heartstrings.
Oh and the episode where they are hopping through time and Fry and Leela end up married somehow...and it turns out Fry had spelled out "I Love You Leela" with the stars but they all get sucked into a blackhole before Leela sees.
That one's pretty terrific also...
So, what are your guys' favorite Futarama movies? I gotta say, it's hard to top Into the Wild Green Yonder, m'self.
