MPlayer and VLC can handle just about anything. Oh, and Flip4Mac for Windows movies.

I dual boot Linux Mint (Ubuntu-- but way, way better out of the "box") and Vista... but Vista is dying. And I need it for certain things. Damnit.
I use Mint the most.

OSX on my laptop, WinXP on my desktops. No linux machines at the moment, but it's something I've done in the past and highly recommend.

OS X and Vista on our two craptops. Definitely prefer the Mac, but both are fine really, although I liked XP much better than Vista.
But seriously, internet, basic audio manipulation, and porn only require so much OS specificity these days. If it works, I'm good.

Haven't had much experience with Windows 7 but I like Snow Leopard waaaay better than Vista.

sfunny, that's how I feel about Windows...and I was a Windows sysadmin for years. Sick of patch Tuesdays...
