I don't know - I like Heartben from what I know of him, and I certainly don't think that this should become a public forum for his flogging, but I'm a graphic designer (supposedly a "creative person") and deadlines are part of my daily life. Which is not to say that I'm always on point, but it's rule number one of being a "creative person for hire" that if you're not going to make a deadline, you tell the client ahead of time. 99% of the time, a relationship and collaboration can be saved with clear communication. And you just have to live up to the fact that when that happens, there is a chance that you won't be able to save the project. But then you just pick yourself back up and go back to work.
So I guess what I'm saying is that it's unfortunate that everything came to a head and Devi had to take the problem public to flush Heartben out, but hopefully this won't deter Ben from getting back on the proverbial horse and turning out more beautiful pedals and paintings for those of us who appreciate 'em (i.e. almost all of us). And since in general he's been a good egg to everyone who's spoken with him in public on this board, hopefully he won't disappear from ILF - apologies have been made, pedals have been shipped, lessons have been learned. Now let's get back to the business of loving fuzz!

well said! i absolutely agree, and my comment was a friendly

at Devi... she's currently painting something for me and i've been good to restrain myself and not harass her incessantly.... Ben and i traded some pedals recently and half of my deal from him was he did a quick paint job on it before he sent it out.... looking forward to posting it shortly.... i was fortunate and just caught him before the ridiculous weather hit.....
