(picture from the other side in the photo stream).
Drawers for smaller components, bigger stuff goes in the other side, and sometimes just stored in boxes.
I just cleaned. Usually, it's a bit more piled up than that.

You guys have such better work areas. I have to go back and forth between little "work stations" through out my house. My computer desk is also my main work area where any soldering, breadboarding, and planning take place. Painting is on one side of the garage, while drilling/cutting/"heavy work," is on the other. There's also a tone of extra crap stored in the garage and like 15 unfinished projects by my roommate and I that take up a lot of space...mostly because they deal with woodwork.

kind of old pics, but the last time everything was clean.
My kitchen is taken over too I have a whole cabinet of spraypaint, table with my etchant station, my paint toaster, and drill press.
my living room is "shipping" "receiving" covered in boxes.
thankfully my bedroom is saved, except for giant mouser and digikey catalogs I read before I go to sleep.

If you guys all combined your stations...a lot of sonic damage would be done. Wonder who the first to split from the group and do their own thing would be...either way, inspirational. Half the reason I haven't progressed is the lack of a work bench. Maybe if I buy one I'll be more inspired.

It's really hard to be motivated to do something if you have to set up every time beforehand.
