I noticed you're getting the "modern style" bridge, with 6 saddles... I guess you're not making this a string-thru body?

It's a string-thru only bridge.

I don't quite understand... you mean it's a top-loader? As in, the strings are attached to the bridge only?

Also, I just did a parts swap with a guy and received more tele pups than I know what to do with. If anybody watching this thread is looking to build or upgrade their tele and needs pups, lemme know! :poke:

Nope, the strings go through the body. no top loading here!

Word. i was playing a Squier CV tele (which is also sting-thru) in the store today and I think I might buy it. It's darn cheap and is just asking for a wood finish and a Bigsby. Then I can take the tele I currently have and stick that Jaguar trem on.

Hey, what kinda finish do you plan for your guitar? You said nitro but you didn't say what colour? Have you used nitro before? I've heard horror stories about ppl trying to refinish their guitars with it. Apparently poly is much easier to apply cleanly and evenly. :idk:

Blood Red

And it is true that nitro is a PITA, but no pain, no gain!

What pickups are you thinking about throwing in there? There's a set of Lace Aluminum humbucker pups in the b/s/t...

but be preped for some mad problems haha

As long as it gets in there straight, I don't think there will be any more problems than there would be with any other vibrato system. My Jaguar's trem works perfectly, so why shouldn't it on any other solidbody with the same string spread?

i put a jag trem on my esquier sounds amazing i went the ashtray 3 saddle way. still gotta put a buzzstop on it though. my strings jump even on 12s and the saddles drop unfortunatly after like 10 mins of hard bending stays in tune though haha

I partially routed the neck pocket and dry fitted the neck. the pocket is about 3/32" too wide though, so i have to shim it a bit to the sides. but it will fit with that in it.

And to fuffill the PoiDH rule.
