Thanks dudes. This is super helpful.

Def one of my big mantras. Luckily our music plays right into this type of mentality. It's all about finding a certain balance between musicians and striking that energy rather than worrying if everyone is getting the composition perfectly. :thumb:

i know one thing. i've never been in a studio or nothing but if i ever did i would definitely take advantage of some of their out-board & vintage gear that they have. i think that is what is think is cool about certain studios. even smaller one-man operations. little eccentric things like a Wurlitzer. a Fender Rhoades. Roland Space Echo. et cetera... little things like that.

:)

Oh yes. Bass will be rumbling through a 70s ampeg. And I'll be testing out a Fulltone Tape Echo.

How are you guys breaking up the session? You doing 30 hours straight or three 10 hour sessions? What's the game plan?

10 hours a day will make for a long day but should be manageable! Have fun and don't let things get too tense! Let us know how it goes when you are done.

I won't say much... archlilim likely has a more epic use of the english language to describe how its going so far. But I will say this: being in a studio like this, unbeknownst to me, makes such a huge difference. /me is noob. I love the atmosphere, the work we got done so far has been phenominal, and I think the entire band is really happy with what's being produced. We'll see how it goes today. :D
