moral of the story...get the Goatkeeper if you can.

Nonononono: moral of that story: please post clips!

Tell us all about that when you get it. I'm lusting after its features but I want to know how it sounds.

I have a semaphore and love it but have been considering selling it to help fund a goatkeeper, that thing looks insane.

I traded my semaphore (and a smmh) for a super delay, I've regretted it ever since. I've even got a goatkeeper now but the semaphore was pretty
The paradolia is also pretty

worthy
Choices...

This. 100x this. @pothole you are my main man!
And if you end up with Moogerfoogers you can do crazy stuff like play your guitar through a phaser, sync the GK to the LFO of the phaser and then run the GK into your delay to have the GK waveshapes modulate your delay times. Guitar = Spaceship. Win. So much win. The GK is well worth saving for / selling other pedals for / whatever for.
(There's one for sale on the DAM board even now..... ->

I have no idea what you just said, but all I heard was... Goatkeeper... Randy's Revenge... CV IN... and smiled because I have the exact same set-up. It sounds quite unique, but really usable at the same time. I've incorporated into my music many many times. I just need to RRs' so I can have one permanently in the LFO out and one for other purposes!
