i already have an older Korg Multi-FX that does some really strange digital dirt in spades. so i don't need the M9. not interested in it, or bit-crushers ATM, but IDK something that's does something weird digital distortion-wise. (think like pairing a high-gain distortion w/ a diamond skeleton pedal.)
i mean i am sure if you couple some of the M9 distortion w/ some other stuff in the M9 i am sure you could get some weird distortion if you tweak it but right now the M9 is not on my radar right now ATM.

Like I said you can get all kinds of weird (and nearly always nasty) sounds from those awful multiFX that people throw away.
ILF member will hate this but there is some very knarly and hairy stuff that can be done with the ZOOM multiFXs (very very very cheap on ebay) I also recorded a Sonic Youth style experimental band who swore by the horrid sounds that came out of their KORG AX series multiFXs. I got to admit that some dirt comes out of these peices of junk that just can't be done by analog pedals!
EHX Metal muff? Not really interesting!
I just ordered a Mellowtone mini wolf CPU (79$) for my noise band. Yeah!

I wonder what kind of reaction those comparison videos would receive over at TGP...
