sand the guitar down to bare wood, paint it purple and buy some clear, non-toxic school glue and some sparkles. then you can vary the level of sparkle intensity.

Very hard to control the even ness that way. And it’s rough as pavement until you add tons of clear coat. Kills the resonance. Yeah I tried that on an old plywood body.
Take my advice and don’t bother.

i wasn't serious, fyi. school glue and sparkles would be ridiculous.
its kinda funny that you actually tried it, though. i guess everybody has tried just about everything at this point.

man. i thumbed thru the Sweetwater catalog on the crapper this evening and fuck me if i just don't the pink J Mascis Jazzmaster w/ gold pink guard is the sexxxiest thing since those naked Rihanna pics got leaked on the INTERNET.
the $1200 however is not so sexxxy but it is cheaper than teh Sonic Youth Jazzmasters and teh Elvis Costello Jazzmaster.

Yeah, and you can often find ones for pretty cheap used too. I am having a hard time deciding whether they are incredibly fugly or really awesome. If I don't get a Jazzmaster for Christmas I'll probably grab a used JM sig. off the gear page or something.

i have not been to a Best Buy in years but if i am not mistaken they sell gear now. at least pedals. i am pretty sure they sell vinyl records as well also. if i am not mistaken...
