True the punkifier be a killer pedal. The OD side in particular. Anyone know what the OD side of the punkifier is based on?

No not a RAT, I know what a RAT sounds like and the OD side of the punkifier is lower gain, more flexible and warmer sounding.
My guess would be it would be based on the DOD 250 but I've never use one so I have no idea, but I do know that it is a much loved classic OD by some.

The meatbox is seriously amazing on bass and synth. Soooo fat! Have you tried it? On guitar, it sucks though. It can't even register those frequency.
i actually recently passed up on a $60 Meatboxxx i saw on-line at the local GC cuz i knew i wasn't gonna use it & the only reason i would have got it was for TRADE FODDER.
i totally would fuck w/ a Thrashmaster though.
