I've already got my jazzy, I want the new tele...I wonder if they are routed to take regular humbuckers in the neck.

It's interesting... i wrote to ask why Maple frets weren't as prevalent an option on these guitars, and the response was "because traditional jazzmasters only had rosewood frets."

well, traditional jazzmasters also had those wacky, convoluted tone-switch-circuit things, and didn't come with humbuckers either... but whose counting, right?
