EHX made the mold and have been breaking it a few times a year ever since.

I want to be mike matthews when I grow up.

If you take this statement literally and don't think about the fact that the Cathedral is a EHX pedal, it's a lot funnier.

Sometime in the '70s my dad brought home an issue of Rolling Stone with a huge article about Electro Harmonix. :omg: That was a major turning point for me, not really knowing much of about effects before then. How big? As big as listening in earnest for the first time to Switched On Bach or Are You Experienced? :omg: :omg: EHX would later reprint the article for promotional use, which makes sense as it was basically an advertisement. But yeah, a lot of things made sense after that. :wow what a fantastic idea you have there:

EHX is awesome. I've got a Russian Muff, NYC Muff, Small Clone, and a Pulsar. I used to have a Clone Theory, but I actually ended up trading it for the Small Clone.

They just make the coolest stuff. And almost every pedal gets super crazy wacked out with the knobs dimed. Too legit to quit.

Great pedals. Great bang for the buck. Great designs...although some of the current stuff is a bit gaudy for my tastes.
